Hyundai are launching the all new purpose-built EV vehicle to market called IONIQ 5.
This is a revolutionary model for Hyundai and as such they want to sell it direct to customer. The first of its kind in Australian auto motive history.

(PROBLEM)

In order to gain the best understanding of the problem, we first start with researching what other brands do around the world, what are our requirements and what needs does the customer have. This is followed by concept creation stemmed from the business requirements in order to deliver a final MVP. Manage client workshops, working with developers on technical requirements/functional specs as well as assisting in the final designs led by our in house digital designer.

(SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITIES)

My vision was to disrupt the way cars are currently sold and set new standards for the auto motive industry in Australia. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of creativity to ensure that each project I undertake reflects the latest industry innovations.

(OBJECTIVES)

Changing buyer behaviour to purchase an expensive item (car) online was one of the key challengers. In order to overcome this, we needed to be able to provide the user with the confidence they need to make the purchase.


Another key challenge was to distinguish the users location. This was key as users would get cars delivered based on the closest car dealership to them. This proved difficult as if a customer lives on the border of NSW, their closesy dealership would be in Queensland.

(USABLITY TESTING)

The cornerstone of my approach is my unwavering commitment to understanding the needs of my users. I prioritize user-centric design, making certain that my websites provide a seamless, intuitive, and memorable experience from the moment visitors land on my site.

(RESULTS)

The launch of the Hyundai IONIQ5 in Australia was a huge success, and it wasn't just the car that did the talking. The website was the first of its kind for Hyundai where users could go online and skip the entire dealership experience. This was the tough part of my job... to instil enough confidence in the user through the website that they would want to make a purchase. Hyundai sold out within the first 2 hours of launching the website!
